About Us

Welcome to our lovingly renovated alpine hut, which was renovated with care in 2021 and is located in the idyllic Hohe Tauern National Park at an altitude of 1,550 meters. Here, you'll find the perfect retreat to relax and escape from everyday life.

Our enchanting block hut, made from local wood, welcomes you with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Enjoy the tranquility and the sound of the wind in the trees.

For sunny days, you'll have access to benches, loungers, barbecue facilities, and a refreshing fountain outside the hut. Inside, you'll find a spacious common room where you can spend time with your loved ones, or unwind in the infrared cabin.

During the summer, you can experience our special highlight: Our cows and calves graze in the surrounding larch meadow within a fenced area.

For colder days, the wood stove and comfortable tile stove in the rooms provide pleasant warmth. A 3 KV photovoltaic system ensures that each room has sufficient electricity.

The alpine hut is equipped with a comfortable bathroom, including shower/WC and a hairdryer. A refrigerator and stone cellar are available for your refreshments. Thanks to our automatic gas heater, you'll have access to warm water in the bathroom and kitchen at all times.

Towels and bed linen are provided, so you don't have to worry about bringing them.

Please note that the hut is only available for rent during the summer season (May to October).

The mountain cabin consists of three rooms.

On the ground floor, there’s a bedroom with a double bed, a single bed, a wardrobe and a tiled stove for the cold season.

On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms connected by a door. One of them features a double bed, a wardrobe, a desk and chairs. The other bedroom on the upper floor is furnished with a double bed and a single bed. There’s also a balcony, a wardrobe and a seating corner with a desk.
