Farm Products

We don’t sell food products. You can purchase a lot of locally grown food and drinks in the staffed mountain cabins nearby or on the farmer’s market in Radenthein (every Friday in the market hall).

Our local dairy “KASLAB`N” in Radenthein also sells cheese and other delicious food.

The Rimbrecht family’s farm shop on their farm “Hasentrattner” in Kaning is open for you every day!

Animals

On our farm (in the valley), we keep heritage livestock breeds that are threatened by extinction: black- and brown-furred Pinzgauer cattle, Pustertaler Sprinzen (cattle), crested ducks, large, silver- and black-feathered Wyandotte chicken, miniature Shetland ponies, dwarf sheep, pigs, cats and a dog. The cows and their calves spend summer high up on the alpine pastures. The rest of the animals stays on the farm with us.
