“Urhof” - that’s a luxury chalet with a rustic charm and a service quality that meets modern standards. A private outdoor sauna, a cosy fireplace, a luxurious bathroom built with rocks from the Alps, three bedrooms and a spacious kitchen/living area leave nothing to be desired. The chalet features two rooftop terraces. On the upper one, there’s a fire & water bathtub for a relaxing bath outdoors. The breakfast box is filled with culinary delights that are produces on our farm and delivered to the chalet every day. We are happy to serve dinner to your chalet (extra fees apply). The rustic charm of the interiors makes you travel back to another century all while the service quality is ahead of our time.

The perfect place for a winter’s day out in the snow: The Lesachtal valley is known to be a “snow hole”. Several meters of snow are not that rare. A shuttle service takes you to our local ski resort “Golzentipp”. Cross-country ski trails (60+km) start in the village nearby (shuttle service available). Your host is happy to take you through the beautiful mountain scenery on a guided snow shoeing tour (special snowshoeing or ski touring weeks available).

Travel Information via Public Transportation:

At Genusshof Mesner Aktiv, we place great value on providing convenient and sustainable travel options for our guests. Over 70% of our guests arrive using public transportation to enjoy our themed activities such as snowshoeing, yoga, or hiking. Therefore, we have adjusted our services accordingly.

On the day of arrival, we offer a shuttle service directly from Oberdrauburg train station to our location. Once here, our organized program ensures smooth transfers to various activities. Upon departure, our shuttle service is available again to take you back to Oberdrauburg train station.

Additionally, for skiers, we provide an in-house ski bus that offers convenient access to the slopes during your stay.

On our nearby farm, we produce lots of culinary delights: milk, cheese, eggs, butter, jam, honey, spreads, bread, apples, berries, fruit spirits, fruit juice, apple juice, syrup, meat, spreads, potatoes, cereals (no use of chemicals), salads and much more. You can buy these products directly at our farm. Alternatively, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast (breakfast box delivered to the chalet or breakfast buffet in the farmhouse) and four-course dinner (choose from meals with meat, fish or vegetarian).

On the ground floor, there’s a spacious terrace incl. outdoor sauna, fully equipped kitchen, living room with a wide panoramic bay window, bathroom with shower, double wash basin and separate toilet.

The chalet “Urhof” is set in Liesing, a village in the Lesachtal valley. You can access it by car, bus or taxi.

Travel by train: train station “Tassenbach” or “Oberdrauburg”. We are happy to organise a shuttle service to the chalet!

Travel by plane: The airport in Klagenfut is not far. Alternatively, you can land in Trieste or Venice (Italy). Salzburg airport is another option. From the airport, we can organise a shuttle service for you. We are also happy to organise a helicopter shuttle service or a rental car.

E-Mobility: For those arriving with an electric car, we offer a charging station right at the parking lot in front of the chalet. It can be used by all kinds of charging systems (also Tesla).

Travel by car: You can go to the Lesachtal valley from the east or from the west. We are happy to send you a detailed description of your individual route.
