About Us

Welcome to the Wildinghütte

Our Wildinghütte is located away from the crowds in a secluded location at 1,500 m above sea level on the Wildingalm in the Pölstal valley.

We rebuilt the hut in 2021 and 2022. In the course of this, old and new were combined with the finest taste and lovingly rediscovered.

We took care to incorporate old wood, stones and objects from the old hut into the new one. The streetcar wood ceiling in the living room and kitchen as well as the wooden ceilings in the anteroom were made from this wood. The furniture in the upper rooms, in the bathroom and partly in the kitchen was also carpentered from the wood of the old hut.

In many places in the new hut you can see the old objects, which have been lovingly restored and brought back to life. For example, you can admire an old mug on the shelf, old skis on the wall, an old armchair in the corner and much more from a bygone era.

If you are looking for peace and seclusion without sacrificing luxury, this is the place for you. Relaxation, feeling yourself again and putting your thoughts in order suddenly happen here as light as a feather...

In the tranquillity of nature, with an unobstructed view of the Mur Valley, situated in special places of power, you can find peace here like nowhere else.

A small, fine wellness area, your PrivateSpa, with sauna and jacuzzi, as well as an outdoor cold pool and secluded spots around the hut, invite you to linger and relax...

Hiking trails from the hut offer a contrasting sporting activity.

In the Murtal vacation region you can discover other highlights such as the Red Bull Ring, the Sternenturm in Judenburg or many beautiful gentle hikes.

If you would like to be pampered, you can book our breakfast basket with many regional products selected for you.

Soak up the peace and quiet and enjoy nature, the wonderful view or listen to the babbling water next to the hut.

2 - 6 People

In the lovingly furnished hut there is a fully equipped kitchen next to the cozy living area with tiled stove. The large cozy table and the stove for self-heating ensure convivial hours with the rustic alpine flair. The 3 bedrooms on the upper floor are furnished with high-quality furniture made from the wood of the dismantled 200-year-old hut. The old has been combined with modern elements. The balcony with its wide view of the beautiful Mur Valley is a special place of strength and allows you to relax.

The outdoor area around the hut has been designed with great attention to detail and invites you to linger and relax with its romantic seating, barbecue area and hammocks. A special highlight is the small but exquisite wellness area, which leaves nothing to be desired with a hot tub, a barrel sauna and a cold water pool. 

The Wildinghütte has central heating, which is powered by a photovoltaic system. This means that the hut is always comfortably warm and plenty of firewood is also provided. Careful use of electricity is necessary, however, as resources are not unlimited.
