Seefeld Region - Tyrol's high plateau
What’s so special here?
-
True relaxation could hardly be more obvious. An impressive adventure begins as soon as you arrive at the world's highest ICE railway station in Seefeld.
-
Child-friendly hiking routes with flat, wide paths lead through the region and invite you to discover the secrets of nature. A special adventure is the hike through the Leutascher Geisterklamm gorge, where goblins and dwarves are said to be up to mischief in the roaring water and rock faces. Hikers and mountaineers can also look forward to more challenging routes to peaks with great views.
-
The highlight of every hike is, of course, a stop at a mountain hut. There are particularly many to be found in the Gaistal alpine paradise.
-
Numerous bike routes along the entire Seefeld region are ideal for pleasure bikers, action lovers and little explorers.
-
A large number of bathing lakes, streams and gorges provide refreshment on hot days.
" It’s great to do some cross-country skiing or set out on a multi-day hike here. Along the mountain stream or to the Gaistal, retracing the life of the German writer Ludwig Ganghofer."
