The municipality of St. Anton is located at the foot of the mountain “Arlberg” that forms the natural divide between Tyrol and Vorarlberg, Austria’s westernmost federal province. A location at 930 metres above sea level, a length of 10 kilometres, a depth of 133 metres maximum and drinking water quality - these are the characteristics of Tyrol’s largest lake for swimming: Lake Achensee.  Water sports enthusiasts, budding mountaineers and leisure hikers find everything their hearts could desire. With its shallow water, the southern shore of the lake, near Buchau, is the ideal spot for families with children. An oasis of rest and relaxation!
