Despite the isolated location, in both summer and winter you will find yourself right in the thick of things; for example, the Hauser Kaibling-Planai ski region and the cross-country ski paradise of Ramsau am Dachstein are just five minutes' drive away. Hiking and cycle paths leading to unique self-catering alpine huts are located near the Almchalet.
