About Us
Our Artlieb Hut is situated in a peaceful and sunny secluded location, just outside of Bischofshofen at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters. Our farm is about 500 meters away from the hut. We run our organic farm on a part-time basis and always look forward to welcoming visitors. You are welcome to help feed and pet the animals!
We have carefully renovated this over 420-year-old hut, preserving its rustic charm. For example, the traditional "heating gap" in the bedroom floor above the kitchen still exists, allowing heat to rise and warm the sleeping area. However, the bathroom has been completely modernized with a focus on guest comfort.
The hut comfortably accommodates up to 6 people and features four bedrooms. The stunning mountain views surrounding the hut are truly unique. The best way to enjoy them is from our garden seating area or right in front of the hut. For ultimate relaxation, you can unwind in your private barrel sauna in the garden.
The hut is easily accessible by car year-round, both in summer and winter. Dogs are warmly welcome!
In summer, you can hike directly from the hut, as several trails pass nearby. Alternatively, you can explore the area by mountain bike.
In winter, the nearest ski resorts are just a 25-minute drive away.

As a welcome gift, each guest receives a basket with fresh eggs, homemade bread, and jam.
In winter, our cows, calves, chickens, rabbits, sheep, and goats stay in the barn. In summer, all our animals are out on the pasture.
