Bambichl Alm

Welcome to the Bambichl-Alm!

Our original alpine hut is located on the Faistenauer Schafberg with a marvellous view over the Fuschlsee region in SalzburgerLand! Here you can switch off, unwind and immerse yourself in a time without electricity.

The alpine hut is only rented out in the summer months!

You can only reach our alpine hut on foot, after about an hour's easy walk - without luggage! We will bring your luggage to the hut and pick it up again for you.

The alpine hut has

• a kitchen-cum-living room with wood-burning cooker and sink
• a ground-floor bedroom with double bed
• a balcony room with 2 bunk beds on the 1st floor
• bed linen, hand and kitchen towels
• a WC and washbasin with cold running water
• lighting with battery-powered lights
• a fountain and barbecue area in front of the hut

After a 20-minute climb, you will reach two serviced mountain huts on the Oberwiesalm. They serve excellent snacks, farmhouse doughnuts or breakfast.

We recommend a hike to the Loibersbacherhöhe, the Faistenauer Schafberg or the Mittereggalm.

P.S. 2 marmots live under the hut and with a bit of luck you might see or hear a marmot whistling.
