About Us
The Gschwandner farmhouse is a 400-year-old mountain farmhouse with old walls and renovated on the inside. Comfortable and cozy! Creaking floors and utensils from way back when will remind you of days gone by. The individual rooms are lovingly decorated with an eye for detail.The roomy kitchen and the country-style living room filled with wood furnishings are perfect for cooking together and game nights with family and friends. It's easy to spend long nights here relaxing and enjoying time together.
During the winter, the Gschwandner mountain farm is the ideal starting point for snowshoeing. Those wanting to go sledding can sled all the way into the valley on our own private mountain trail.The family ski resort of St. Johann, the Hahnbaum lifts (distance: approximately 5 km), will tempt you with their special deals and a free practice lift. The well-known ski area Alpendorf in the resort world of Amade is located only 8 km from our farm. Getting there: Access is over a steep, single lane, paved road. Winter tires and snow chains are absolutely necessary for the winter! We will be happy to help with directions.
