About Us
Around our farm you have an unobstructed view of an impressive mountain backdrop. The nearby cycle paths invite you to go on tours. The idyllic outdoor pool is a favourite. Enjoy hikes along clear mountain streams, the lush meadows with wild herbs in the summer sun, the fragrant hay and much more. Our guests can hike, cycle, linger on the farm - simply switch off completely.
Get the Bregenzerwald Card (included from 3 nights) - with this you can use the mountain railways, public transport and outdoor pools in the Bregenzerwald free of charge.
A contented life on a quietly situated farm, hospitality and cosiness - that's everyday life for us! We live where others like to go on holiday.
For our summer guests there is a colourful barbecue evening!
You and your children will be delighted! There is plenty of space to let off steam. In front of the house and on the playground. Farmer Martin also welcomes your interest in the Bertsch farm and the odd helping hand on the farm and on the alpine pasture.
About Us
Bertsch Farm is located directly on the valley run, the cross-country ski trail and the winter hiking trails. Pure skiing pleasure awaits you in Mellau-Damüls, the largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald. Strap on your skis and off you go!
During the winter months, you can book an informative guided tour of our farm every fortnight via the tourist office. You can find out more directly at the tourist office in the village centre.
The large mounds of snow in front of the house make children's eyes light up. There, young and old alike can slide, build caves, have snowball fights and build snowmen.
The happy life on the quietly situated farm, the hospitality and cosiness - that's everyday life for us! We live where others like to go on holiday.
The barn is open to all guests during milking times. Gain an insight into local farming! Or lend a hand.

On request and depending on the season, you can also get milk directly from the farm:

Cheese and butter are available from us on site or the complete range directly from the Alpenkäse Bregenzerwald dairy in Bezau.

- the tame rabbits Cappuchino, Bounty and Fridolin,
- our pecking chickens Gretl, Paula and co.
- our ducks Fredi and Frederike, Lotta and Luise, who keep our garden snail-free,
- the funny goats Lilie and Charlotte
And, the swallows that keep returning to us enrich life on our farm! Have you ever seen a swallow feeding its young?
Bertsch Farm is a brown cattle breeding farm. The farm is run all year round. In winter the animals are kept directly on the farm, in summer the cattle spend their holidays (summer retreat) on our alpine pasture. Would you like to help with the work on the farm and on the alpine pasture?
