A family holiday on our farm is equal to lots of fun and adventure. Our young guests are guaranteed not to be bored when playing in our adventure playground as well as herding and milking cows or petting rabbits.
Hiking holidays in Austria! A variety of beautiful hiking trails criss-cross the Stodertal valley. Our alpine resort is the ideal starting point for numerous hikes. Whether it’s a country walk to the nearby staffed mountain cabin “Steyrsbergerreith” or a hike up the rugged mountain range Totes Gebirge - after an arduous ascent you’ll be rewarded with an awe-inspiring panoramic view of the Stodertal valley and the surrounding mountain peaks.
Our four mountain cabins, located 30 m from our main house, are an ideal starting point for numerous hikes and country walks. Families of up to 8 people can make themselves comfortable in the mountain cabin and spend cosy days together. Self-catering, half board or full board - your family holiday or hiking holiday in Upper Austria will be something very special.

About Us
Family holidays in Austria: Our premium farm Almresort Baumschlagerberg in Upper Austria is located at 1,020 m above sea level in the idyllic snow-covered Stodertal, not far from the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup venue Hinterstoder. Our alpine resort is family-run and child-friendly.
A family holiday in Austria is equal to lots of fun and adventure. Find our private ski lift in front of the house. Our "downhill slope" is ideal for beginners and smaller children. Our ski bus will take you and your family safely to Hinterstoder, to the ski resort “Höss”, and back home again. After a cold and perhaps a bit strenuous day of skiing, nothing stands in the way of relaxation in our sauna area.
Our four mountain cabins which are located 30 m from our main house are oases of peace and relaxation. Families of up to 8 people can make themselves comfortable in the mountain cabin and spend cosy days together. Self-catering, half board or full board - your family holiday or hiking holiday in Austria will be something very special. We run our family farm with about 20 hectares of farmed land and 10 hectares of forest. Our farm is home to cows, calves, pigs, our cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
You can experience life on the farm with us and participate to the extent you wish.
Driving cows out to pasture, milking cows or making hay - these farming tasks are always a nice change from everyday life and especially unforgettable for your children!
