You’ll feel your strength when you hike up and whizz down the mountain!
Beginners, advanced skiers, adventure seekers, nature lovers or city dwellers looking for something new to explore. The meadows around or organic farm Biohof Gschwandt (800 m) are the ideal setting for toboggan or sledge runs, snowshoeing walks, the first attempts skiing and much more - in the heart of the Pyhrn-Priel holiday destination.
The family-friendly ski resorts Wurzeralm in Spital am Pyhrn and Höss in Hinterstoder are both only a 15 minutes’ drive from our farm. You can enjoy culinary delights in the staffed mountain cabins.
The Pyhrn-Priel holiday destination boasts more than 80 km of cross-country ski trails and several curling spots. There are plenty of cultural highlights all year round, public indoor pools, sports activities or the Kalkalpen National Park where you can join the ranger feed the deer.
Come and spend a cosy evening with us in our living room. We’ve already heated the tiled stove! Have a cup of home-made tea following grandpa’s recipe. It will warm you from the inside ... Then you will feel the energy of wood, sun and snow!

Our dear animals...
live on our farm except for the young cattle which enjoys summer on the alpine pastures. Our cows spend most of the time grazing outside on the pastures. They go to the barn when it’s time to milk and feed them. Depending on the weather and their age, our calves are also outside. The chicken are in the fenced area outside and get along well with each other. Our cats are out and about around the house. They are grateful for every caress and cuddle they can get.
And if you’re lucky, you might even see a calf being born...
