Information on arriving by public transport:
The bus runs hourly from 06:00 to 20:00. The bus stop is located 200 meters from the farm.
You can travel by train to Villach main station. From there, you have the option to continue either by bus or with the regional shuttle (a discounted shared taxi). The transfer can be booked in advance through the regional website.
The region/municipality offers a comprehensive mobility service. With the Erlebnis CARD of the holiday region, which is available from participating hosts, you have access to numerous free mobility options. These include the S-Bahn throughout Carinthia, the Naturpark Dobratsch bus, Postbus lines, and much more.
We offer breakfast at the farm, and a supermarket is only 200 meters away. Additionally, there are three guesthouses in the village, all within walking distance.
Guests arriving by train can use our e-bikes for free, making even less accessible areas easily reachable.
In our hotel, just as in our farming, we rely on organic products and practices, avoid using genetically modified seeds, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides, take care to ensure our animals' wellbeing and appreciate the valuable foodstuffs they provide. We grow our own grains, fruits and vegetables and have done so – organically – for decades. Our four-hectare stretch of farmland is home to our thriving grain crops, which we use to make bread, pastries, cakes and porridge. We freshly mill spelt, rye, oats and buckwheat every day before using them in our recipes. Our organic fruit and vegetables arrive on your plate fresh from our garden. It doesn't get any more local than this.
Space to unwind, plus time and care for our plants and animals
Every day, our hens provide us with fresh, organic eggs that we use in cakes, pastries and egg-based recipes for breakfast. We're also grateful for the produce we gather from our sheep and lambs. What's more, we make use of our animals' wool. Our farm is also home to horses, goats and rabbits, who would all love a good stroke.
