Welcome to the Hoferbichlgut!

Our organic farm is situated in a quiet and idyllic location not far from the centre of Saalfelden. Surrounded by meadows and a magnificent mountain panorama, you can enjoy your holiday with us and switch off from everyday life.

Right next to our farmhouse is our newly built chalet Steinerner Meerblick with a small sauna hut. Our petting zoo with ponies, goats, rabbits and cats provides entertainment for young and old. We are also happy to tell you more about our calf rearing or our Wagyu cattle breeding.

The outdoor area

Our swimming pond with sun loungers and a barbecue area with cosy seating are available in the garden. Part of the sauna hut is reserved for our chalet guests only and again promises a view of the surrounding mountains.

In summer, countless kilometres of cycling, mountain biking and downhill trails await you. Your hiking adventure can start right on the farm doorstep. With more than 400 kilometres of marked hiking trails and mountain tours, you are in the middle of a hiking paradise. Of course, this also includes the serviced alpine huts, mountain streams and lakes.

In winter, our farm is the ideal starting point for your winter holiday. The Asitzbahn cable car is 14 km away and offers the perfect access to the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace should spend their family ski day at the Hinterreit lifts or make their turns in the Maria Alm ski area on the Hochkönig - both ski areas are not far from our farm. Alternatively, winter hikes start directly from the farm. There is plenty of space around the house for children to build snowmen, have snowball fights or go tobogganing.

Depending on the season and while stocks last, we offer organic products from our own production, such as milk, eggs, schnapps, meat and bacon.

You are cordially invited to visit us in the barn and take a look behind the scenes of our farm and product production.

Chalet

1 - 4 People

Ground floor:
A small entrance area with cloakroom is followed by an open-plan kitchen/living room with 2-ring ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, kettle, toaster, seating area, flat-screen TV. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with shower, WC, washbasin and washing machine. W-LAN is free to use throughout the chalet.

First floor:
On the upper floor is the bedroom with a double bed and a "Flexinno" bed, which can be converted from a sofa bed to a bunk bed. There is also a flat-screen TV in the bedroom. W-LAN is free to use throughout the chalet.

Sauna hut:
Right next to the chalet is the sauna hut with a fantastic view, exclusively for our chalet guests.
