Das Ramsaugut

The Ramsaugut is located in Faistenau, only about 20 km from Salzburg with a view of the Faistenauer Schafberg! Here you will find peace and relaxation. The holiday home is just for you, as our family does not live on the farm and only comes twice a day at stable time.

We raise calves and have a Noriker horse for breeding on the farm. Our horse and the quails stay at the farm in summer and the calves come to the mountain pasture in summer.

The Ramsaugut has been completely renovated and high-quality materials were used during the renovation! In summer you are welcome to use the garden with the seating area, the charcoal barbecue and the kitchen herb garden! The children can cook in the mud kitchen or go for a ride on the pedal tractor.

We are both hunters and there is the opportunity to watch the game.

In summer, the farm is an ideal starting point for excursions, hikes and cycle tours. The network of hiking trails and cycle paths in this region is very well developed and signposted. We recommend a dip in the Hintersee after a long day. It is only 5 minutes by car from our farm. You can also take the bus to Salzburg right outside our front door and explore the city of Mozart.

In winter, Faistenau is known for its countless cross-country ski trails and the many hours of sunshine! If you prefer the quieter family ski areas, this is the place for you! Or you can spend a quiet day on the farm sledging, building a snowman or snowshoeing.
