About Us
Our farm is set on top of a hill surrounded by the breathtaking mountains of the Dachstein massif and the Tauern ranges. Countless hiking trails are within easy reach from our farm. In summer, the Ramsau plateau is a paradise for horse riders. Other sports such as Nordic walking, running and cycling are equally popular. A beautiful natural moorland lake is located in Ramsau-Schildlehen. It’s a paradise for swimmers of all ages.
In season, you can collect berries and go mushrooming in the forests near our farm.
Especially kids will have a blast on our farm! A fairytale trail, the Katzenburg castle ruins or an educational nature trail make for a diverse stay.
On our farm, there’s always something going on. Our animals such as cows, sheep, goats, ponies, ducks, chicken, rabbits and cats will boost your personal connection to nature.
The summer guest card allows you to use the majority of leisure activities in our holiday region free of charge. “All inclusive” - from the end of May until the end of October, you can benefit from the majority of our local tourist infrastructure and leisure activities free of charge and as often as you like. Using the summer guest card, you can enjoy the Dachstein glacier, the cable cars to Rittisberg, Planai, Reiteralm and Hauser Kaibling, go swimming in the nearby lakes, public indoor and outdoor pools, benefit from busses, activities for kids and much more free of charge.
About Us
Crisp, clean and cold air as well as a bright, blue sky - that’s what the Ramsau plateau is famous for in winter.
Our farm is set right in the centre of the ski resort “Dachstein Tauern”. At the same time, you’ll enjoy your stay a bit off the beaten track in a relaxing and rural ambience.
More than 200 km of cross-country ski trails, skating tracks and winter walks will lead you to staffed wooden cabins with a rustic charm.
Cross-country ski trails and a winter walking trail run right in front and behind our house. Our hill is perfect for sleigh rides and toboggan runs.
The Ramsau is a sunny intermontane plateau that’s ideal for a skiing holiday with your family.
Stress-free holidays - relax and unwind on a cosy ride in a horse-drawn sleigh, in the oasis of well-being with pool and sauna or pay us and the animals a visit in the barn. They love to see new faces, especially in winter!
