About Us
Welcome to the Drittlhof!
Our mountain farm is situated on the sunny side of the Kitzbühel Alps. Surrounded by meadows and forests, our old wooden farmhouse has a history of almost 300 years. Here we welcome you - your family Wurzrainer-Dornbusch with Gertraud, Michael, Matthias, Hemma and grandma Christl.
Recovery - Relaxation – Experience
Recreation and relaxation with family and friends are offered by the surrounding nature and the magnificent view of the mountain world of the Kitzbühel Alps. The many sporting opportunities, such as hiking, cycling, exploring the mountain, swimming in summer and skiing in winter offer a nice change. Small oases on the farm give you the opportunity to relax and enjoy. Many experiences for our young guests are offered by the traffic-safe playground with sandpit, swings, trampoline and summer house as well as a lot of space to romp around. Our chickens, rabbits and cats are happy to be stroked and make the hearts of our young guests beat faster.
Accommodation to enjoy
Our guests stay in two cosy holiday apartments on the first floor of our farmhouse, which were renovated with great attention to detail in 2018. Tradition was combined with modern comfort. We have taken great care to preserve the old and combine it optimally with the new. The ideal place for a nice time with family or friends to recharge your batteries for everyday life.

Recovery - Relaxation – Experience
Recreation and relaxation with family and friends are offered by the surrounding nature and the magnificent view of the mountain world of the Kitzbühel Alps. The many sporting opportunities, such as hiking, cycling, exploring the mountain, swimming in summer and skiing in winter offer a nice change. In winter, our own toboggan run is right on our doorstep. With different sliding possibilities the children can sweep down the slope and build a snowman.
The direct entrance in Hopfgarten to the ski world "Wilder Kaiser - Brixental" makes the skier's heart beat faster. With over 270 kilometres of slopes and almost 90 lifts, it is one of the largest ski areas in Austria. The many different cross-country ski runs in the surrounding area let you explore and enjoy the area in the valley.

Holiday on a farm does not only mean experiencing, but also learning where it comes from and tasting the high quality culinary delicacies.
From September to May you can get fresh organic hay-milk in our milk chamber every day. We also make natural yoghurt from our organic hay milk.
We process the fruit from our orchard into schnapps, liqueurs and jams. From our numerous apple trees we also press naturally cloudy apple juice and from our large farm garden we process especially the zucchini into a tasty chutney.
Our cows spend their summer holidays on the Niederkaseralm, where their milk is processed into mountain cheese, which we also offer all year round on our farm. We also offer you fresh eggs from our chickens for your daily breakfast.
Once a week we bake fresh bread, which you can enjoy to order.
In summer, our 19 cows spend their well-earned holidays on the Niederkaseralm, where their milk is processed into delicious mountain cheese and alpine butter. At the end of September they are looking forward to "coming home" again and enjoy the outing on the home pasture and in the spacious playpen.
Our chickens, rabbits and cats are at the farm all year round and look forward to being stroked.
