About Us
Welcome to the Ebnerhof!
The Ebnerhof is situated in a quiet and tranquil location near Lake Zell, with fantastic views of the Hohe Tauern. You can reach the village centre or the lido in Maishofen in just a few minutes by bike.
We run a dairy farm; our cows spend the summer on the mountain pasture. Guests share our beautiful garden with our rabbits, cats and goats. Feeding and petting the animals is allowed at any time and is also desired by the animals.
In the garden you will not only find our petting animals, but also a playground with a swing, sandpit and much more. For bad weather days we have a playroom in the house, which the little visitors can visit at any time.
In summer you can enjoy the benefits of the Maishofner discount collector's pass. Take the train to Krimml for free and follow the Tauern cycle path back to us.Or use the lido in Maishofen. Lake Zell is one of the purest bathing lakes in Europe and even has drinking water quality. Entry is free of charge. The lido can be reached by car in 5 minutes or by bike in 10 minutes. There are also countless hiking trails, mountain pastures and cycle tours in the surrounding area. There is something for everyone.
In winter you can be on the mountain in no time at all. The ski lifts in Zell am See/Kaprun are just a few minutes' drive away. Saalbach Hinterglemm is also easy to reach, whether by car or ski bus. Of course you can also go cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or ski touring with us. Georg is a qualified ski instructor and will be happy to give you lessons on request. If the weather doesn't play ball, the Tauern Spa Kaprun with its bathing and wellness area invites you to relax.

Unfortunately, we don't have any home-made products, but we do have farms nearby that sell home-made products.
Our rabbits, goats and cats are happy to be petted by you!
