When the mountain is calling...
You’ll find the answer here. Nestled in the Austrian Alps, our campsite and B&B “Bergfriede” is set at an altitude of 780 m overlooking the beautiful valley. The almost Mediterranean climate provides us with stable weather and plenty of sunshine. Perfect for a relaxing time in the mountains, in the water or up in the air.
It’s a paradise for paragliders and hang gliders.
Excellent thermals on the south-facing hillside nearby make for an ideal experience up in the air. The spot for take-off at 1,270 m is easily accessible via the mountain road. The landing area is at 590 m.
Our guests can use the areas for take-off and landing free of charge.

We are open from 1 May to 30 September.
We rent out our holiday apartment throughout the whole year.
We put a great emphasis on fresh and locally sourced ingredients in our small restaurant. A lot of products are sourced from our own farms or local producers.
We use bread, meat, herbs, fruit and vegetables as a basis for traditional culinary delights.
We offer home-made jam and honey at breakfast.
There’s a snack for every fancy.
A traditional cold snack platter, a hearty goulash soup or fresh salad from the garden?
Of course, there’s also a petting zoo on our farm. It’s a great experience, not only for our youngest guests. You’ll find dwarf goats, mini Shetland ponies and lambs there. Cats and bunnies also roam on the farm. They love being petted.
Our cattle and sheep also go on holiday in summer. They enjoy lush green grass high up on the alpine pastures.
