Holiday Apartment at Glatz Hof - Your Dream Vacation in the Nockberge Mountains 🌄
Enjoy your holiday in our charming holiday apartment at Glatz Hof, perfect for 2 to 5 people. The apartment is 75 m² and offers a spacious living kitchen with a cozy sitting area, two comfortable bedrooms, and a modern bathroom. Relax on the large balcony or in the idyllic garden, which features a net swing, a trampoline, a children’s swing, a sandbox, a football table ⚽🏓, ride-on toys like toddler bikes and Bobby cars, as well as a nature playground at the edge of the forest, amidst the mountain meadow and the natural stream 🌳🌼.
Our vegetable and herb garden is available for your use. On the farm, you can meet our Carinthian Blond cattle, chickens, Carinthian Spectacle sheep, pony Cindy, and the playful, cuddly cat Simba 🐂🐔🐴🐶🐱.
Glatz Hof is located in a secluded spot at 1000 meters above sea level in the Gnesau municipality, offering a breathtaking cultural landscape and clean air to breathe 🌬. Enjoy daily free access to our crystal-clear mountain spring water from the farm’s well 💧. The peaceful farm location is perfect for hiking and cycling tours in the beautiful Nockberge Biosphere Reserve 🚶♂️🚴♀️. Watch deer, stags, field hares, and our farm animals directly from the balcony or while lounging in a deck chair 🦌.
Leave your everyday worries behind: Relax with a book 📖 and listen to the birdsong and the soothing sound of the stream 🕊️🌊. Breathe in the fresh scent of wildflower meadows and the rejuvenating aroma of the forest 🌸🌲. A carport is available to keep your car safe and protected 🚗.
Explore over 100 Kärnten Card attractions, such as the Nockalmstraße, Heidi Alm Falkert, the Turracher Höhe cable cars, and the Nockiflitzer, or enjoy a ride on the Brunnachbahn or a guided multi-peak hike with panoramic views of the Carinthian Nockberge and the Julian Alps 🏔️.
Our farm is located in the heart of Carinthia: 20 minutes' drive to Lake Millstatt and Lake Ossiach, 10 minutes to Bad Kleinkirchheim, and 15 minutes to the cable cars, just to name a few.
In addition to numerous hiking and cycling trails, two thermal baths and five ski resorts (Bad Kleinkirchheim, St. Oswald, Turracher Höhe, Hochrindl, and Gerlitzen) are nearby.

About Us
We warmly invite you to spend your winter holiday at Glatz Hof. 🏡❄️
Our farm is located at 1,030 meters above sea level on the shady side, allowing us to guarantee snow for most of the winter. 🎿⛷️
Look forward to a private sledding track right on the farm. Sleds and bobsleds are available for you. 🛷❄️ In addition, one of the longest panoramic cross-country skiing trails in Carinthia is just 250 meters from our farm and easily accessible on foot. ⛸️🌨️
Many well-known ski resorts in the immediate vicinity invite you to ski:
Bad Kleinkirchheim --> 10 minutes ⏱️
St. Oswald Turracher Höhe --> 20 minutes ⏱️
Hochrindl --> about 20 minutes ⏱️
Falkert --> about 15 minutes ⏱️
Gerlitze --> about 30 minutes ⏱️
After skiing, you can use our heated room for your ski equipment (to dry and warm it). 🏔️🔥
In the heart of Gnesau, there is an ice skating rink that also invites you to play ice hockey. 🏒⛸️ For those who prefer skating on natural ice, Flatschachersee is just 15 minutes away, where you can glide across the ice. ⛸️🏞️
After an active day in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains, enjoy a well-deserved break at the spa paradise near the Kaiserburgbahn at the Thermal Römerbad or at the Kathrein Spa in Bad Kleinkirchheim (just 10 minutes from the farm). 🛁💆♀️🌟

Glatzhof is home to a charming variety of animals,
including majestic Carinthian Blond cattle and cheerful chickens with colorful feathers.
Pony Cindy is a gentle beauty, and the playful cat Simba adds extra joy to life. Additionally, you can admire the rare breed of Carinthian Spectacle sheep with their adorable lambs. Together, they form a harmonious community full of love and warmth. 🐂🐔🐴🐶🐱
