Holiday with us at Götschhof - pure relaxation, memorable experiences and the close proximity to pottery town Gmunden, as well as to Grünberg and to the Traunsee ensure a varied holiday in Salzkammergut.
Our farm has been given 4 flowers from the state association for farm holidays. In our square courtyard with our beautiful roomy apartments at the foot of the Grünberg mountain among fruit gardens, meadows, fields and with a stunning view of the Höllengebirge mountain range you can truly unwind.
A lawn for sunbathing in the fruit garden with an area for barbecuing by the granary huts, a trampoline, play things and a fountain to splash about in are all there for the kids to play with. Enjoy the sunny, remote location of our farmyard or discover the centre of Gmunden, 1 minute's drive away, or the Traunsee for bathing, sailing, surfing and small boating. Certainly ideal for families, hikers, water sports lovers, mountaineers, mountain bikers, Nordic walkers, cave explorers and other culture enthusiasts.
Also our many animals such as cows, 2 pigs, the calves, rabbit and cats look forward to meeting your children. They're also allowed to accompany on a tractor ride or help out with the milking!!

Even in winter - with the frost, fog, rain or snow - with us at Götschhof you will feel toasty warm thanks to our wood-chip heating, and sleep like a baby after a nightcap of our healthy farm milk. Your children can explore the entire farm, help in the barn, drive a tractor, watch the cows being milked, etc.
Gmunden's proximity to Lake Traunsee makes our farm twice as attractive. It also lies at the foot of the Grünberg, this mountain ist very popular for hiking and especially popular for ski tours - also because of the fantastic views of the Salzkammergut. Tours can be started directly from our farm. With enough snow you can ski right up to our front door! For more extensive skiing facilities we recommend the Feuerkogel ski resort at the Traunsee (25 minutes), the Kasberg ski resort (45 minutes) or the Dachstein-West ski resort, which can be reached by car within an hour.
You can even enjoy ice skating at the new Gmunden ice rink where your little ones can make their first attempts.
