About Us
A warm welcome to our farm Großhaslinger! Welcome to our home, the Hüttmannsberger family!
Our farm is located at an altitude of 736 m. In a quiet location, far away from traffic, you can enjoy the panoramic view over the hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel region and our beautiful village Königswiesen.
What to expect on our farm:
- Helping hands are warmly welcome when it’s time for the daily tasks in the barn! Join us when we feed the animals, milk the cows, and muck out the barn. Especially children love to help! It is always helpful to bring rubber boots and "work clothes".
- A spacious garden with a barbecue area, sunbathing lawn, and covered seating is the perfect place for you and your family to relax. For children, our garden with playhouse, slide, and sand pit is a true paradise!
Our region, the Mühlviertler Alm, boasts a lot of destinations for family outings and hiking trails:
- Native wildlife park and fairytale trail “Jagdmärchenpark Hirschalm”
- Archery course
- Speed toboggan run
- Hiking trail “Klammleiten”
- Hiking up to the summit at 920 m
- Pilgrimage route “Way of St John” (“Johannesweg”)
- ”Wird net fad Weg” (“It never gets boring trail”)
- Trail of rocking stones
- and much more!
We live in a farmhouse characteristic of the Mühlviertel region. It was built over 200 years ago. The grandparents Margareta and Johann live in a separate building next to the original farmhouse. The farmers Gerlinde and Johann live in the old part of the farmhouse - with its thick stone walls - with the two youngest of their four children, Markus and Anna.
After the construction of a free-stall barn for our approx. 40 dairy cows and ongoing renovations of our two holiday apartments, we’ve redesigned our garden. We created a lawn for sunbathing and relaxation, a barbecue area, and a campfire site. The perfect place for us and our guests to enjoy the end of the day.
Relax and unwind on our farm!
We are looking forward to welcoming you!
