In the heart of Carinthia, in the municipality of Magdalensberg near Klagenfurt, we welcome guests in 4 spacious rooms and 2 comfortable holiday apartments in our 16th century mansion that we’ve restored with great care. In our farm shop, we offer home-made and locally sourced products, primarily from organic agriculture, for sale 24/7.

Our rooms come with high ceilings, antique furniture made with solid timber, feature old tiled stoves and vintage lamps, stucco works or elegant parquet floorings. Each one possesses a unique charm.

For breakfast, you can look forward to an ample breakfast buffet with home-made products from the farm such as jam and cake, ham and cold cuts, fruit and vegetables from the garden as well as eggs, curd cheese, honey, bread and rolls from nearby farms.

You’re welcome to use the guest kitchen and use herbs that you can harvest yourself from our farmer’s garden!

Klagenfurt and its shopping facilities is just a stone’s throw away. Stroll through the historic city centre and take in the Mediterranean flair. Europe’s largest public pool at a lake at the famous Lake Wörthersee is not far! Enjoy the view of the Karawanks from the village of Gundersdorf or set out on a hike up one of Carinthia’s beautiful mountains with a snack from our farm in your backpack! The large gardenaround our house offers lots of space to play and unwind.

Children are particularly welcome! Jump in the pool or play in the garden - it’s allowed to be loud here! A playground, a soccer court, go-karts, pedal cars, bikes, toys, table tennis, animals to pet and a spacious lawn - there are plenty of opportunities to play. There’s a large pool for a refreshing dip on a hot summer’s day.

Schlossgut Gundersdorf not only offers an idyllic setting for your vacation but also convenient arrival options without a car. The nearest stop is just 10 meters away and conveniently named "Schloss" (Castle). Even for guests arriving late by train with no bus service available, arrangements for pickup are made. Additionally, 2 bicycles are available for exploring the surroundings at your leisure.

Right in front of the house, you'll find our farm shop where you can stock up on regional products for self-catering. For guests arriving without a car, we aim to enhance convenience further: you'll receive a voucher for our farm shop, the value of which is based on the length of your stay. We want to ensure that your vacation with us is as relaxing and sustainable as possible
