About Us
"Holidays should really be holidays, and not be full of stress" - spend your holidays on our "Haarlehen" farm in the beautiful Großarltal.Experience holidays on the farm in a very special way with us. We offer our guests special activities on the farm, such as weekly barbecue evening, ponys, taking care of the small animals, and much more... In the summer, the mountains with their deep blue mountain lakes, mild summer nights, and traditional alpine hospitality beckon you to relax and enjoy various sports. Enjoy the nature first hand, discover our region's most beautiful corners, and allow the breathtaking scenery to inspire you. Großarltal is known for its large number of agricultural alpine huts - around 40, which still make butter and cheese just like yesteryear. Around 220 km of marked hiking trails and mountain bike routes earned our valley the nickname "The Valley of the Alpine Pastures".Some nearby sights: Liechtensteinklamm, Eisriesenwelt ice caves in Werfen, Hohenwerfen fortress, Mozart city Salzburg and for the younger ones: Rucki Zucki Gaudi-Alm, Wagrainis Grafenberg, ghost mountain in Alpendorf
About Us
Our farm is situated in Unterberg, approx. 50 m from the Hochbrand 8-person cable car, right on the family slope of the Großarl-Dorfgastein interconnected ski area. Skiing schools, ski kindergarten, restaurants, grocery and sports shops are only a few minutes walk away. The huge family-friendly ski region - Ski Amadé has a total of 5 regions, 860 km of ski slopes and 270 lifts, waiting to be explored. The interconnected ski area Großarltal-Dorfgasten is one of the most modern and best developed ski areas in the entire Salzburg region (2x winner of the ski region test). Cross-country skiers and winter hikers will also find just what they are looking for in Großarl. Perfect cross-country ski runs and marked winter hiking trails leading through snow-covered forests make your holidays something special. Sleigh rides. Wrapped up in a warm blanket in the horse-drawn carriage, glide through the countryside and enjoy the magic of the unique mountain landscape. Enjoy the tranquillity around you.
Around our house there is also more than enough room to go tobogganing or bob sleighing, or build a snowman!
