About Us

It’s a daily routine: Start the day with heating the different tiled stoves. It will fill you with joyful anticipation of the warmth and comfort that you’ll enjoy after a long winter walk, a snow ball fight or a fun-filled sledge ride. In the evening, you can cuddle up on the bench next to the tiled stove with a cup of tea. Not only once, guests have turned night into day during an exciting card game.

Arrival

As usual, there are two ways to reach your goal:

Via Hüttenberg - next to the cemetery, turn in the direction of Maria Waitschach. Following the road up the hill, you’ll reach the village of Waitschach. Go past the church and cross the village centre. Follow the road through the forest for about 3.5 km until you reach a large glade. On the other side of the forest glade, there’s the holiday home “Haus Baierberg”.

Starting from Guttaring, turn in the direction of Urtlgraben at the bridge. Follow the road for 5.8 km and turn right in the direction of Waitschach. Continue as indicated above or follow the road through the Rateingraben for 5 km until you can turn right in the direction of Waitschach. You’ll reach our house after going 3 km up the hill.
