With passion and creativity we have created an apartment house for you in Au in the Bregenzerwald. The Haus Bergquell. As the name suggests, the water used on the farm comes exclusively and directly from the Wieder spring at great depths. With the view from the window in the midst of nature, you will spend a good time in the mountains: Kanisfluh, Diedamskopf, Üntschenspitze, Geiersberg, Gräsalp and what they are all called.
TIP: In summer you receive the Bregenzerwald Guest Card free of charge when you book with us, with which you can use all mountain railways, outdoor swimming pools and local public transport to the towns of Dornbirn and Bregenz free of charge.
Pure relaxation during your stay in Vorarlberg with the whole family: cosy up by the small, private pond in the spacious garden or in the rustic garden house. On sun loungers, seating areas, swings or with children in the sandpit, with toys and vehicles. But certainly with the horses in the stables, during riding lessons or on a trail ride. Becoming one with 700 kilograms of concentrated energy.
The public swimming pool, the children's playground, the sports field and the extensive Bregenzerwald cycle path are just around the corner. Haus Bergquell is also the ideal starting point for great alpine tours, hikes, cycling and mountain bike tours.

With passion and creativity we have created an apartment house for you in Au in the Bregenzerwald. The Haus Bergquell. The water you need is of the highest quality and comes exclusively and directly from the Wieder spring at great depths. With the view from the window in the midst of nature, you will spend a good time in the mountains: Kanisfluh, Diedamskopf, Üntschenspitze, Geiersberg, Gräsalp and what they are all called.
Winter hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing or ski touring. Snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides or husky trekking ... there's something for everyone here!
40 kilometres of classically groomed cross-country ski trails and 13 kilometres of skating trails as well as 38 kilometres of groomed winter hiking trails away from the roads directly from Haus Bergquell through floodplains, snow-covered forests and wide meadows. The ski bus stop is just a few minutes' walk from the house. The free ski bus takes you to all the surrounding ski areas in the Bregenzerwald in just a few minutes: Grundholzlift in Au with night skiing, Diedamskopf, Mellau-Damüls, Warth-Schröcken or even Ski Arlberg.
We offer our guests the opportunity to help themselves from the vegetable garden and fruit trees directly in front of the house. And depending on the season, we offer the following products directly from the farm.

All the culinary highlights from the Bregenzerwald are available within walking distance in the farm shops, the alpine dairy, the grocery shops or the restaurants and inns. You will also find the infrastructure for all other daily necessities, such as a post office, bank, chemist's, doctor with pharmacy or sports shops with eBike hire right on site.
We look forward to welcoming young and old riders and helpers in the stables all year round. Every afternoon, all children are allowed to join us in the stables. They are groomed, fed, mucked out, saddlery greased ... Everything is done to make riders' hearts beat faster.
Riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders on trained Haflinger and warmblood horses can be booked directly on site. In winter, we also offer horse-drawn sleigh rides during the day or in the evening.
All year round, our horses and their foals are housed right next to Haus Bergquell in the newly built stables. The bunnies, guinea pigs, kittens, chickens and Mela the dog also love to be stroked by our guests.
