Hof Wieser - Kinderbauernhof

We cultivate a grain field on our farm. We try to show the kids how grain is transformed into bread. On the field, we show them how grain used to be harvested and threshed by hand. At the water mill, the grain was milled and the flour was used for baking bread. Baking bread with children is a worthwhile experience time and again.

There’s a lot of cattle on our farm. Some of them spends summer high up on the alpine pastures.

Our dairy cow “Berta” provides us with milk. Our guests are welcome to give it a try and milk her. Keen milkers will get a “milking diploma”.

Sindy, our pony, is looking forward to meeting riders who’d like to try pony-riding for the first time. Experienced riders can take her out on their own.

Josephe, our miniature pony, loves to be taken out on a walk. A ride on Lotta, our donkey, is a unique experience.

Kittens, rabbits, pot-bellied pigs, goats, chicken, ducks, geese (our most dangerous animals) are looking forward to meeting you and getting a bit of tender loving care.

In our private fish pond, guests can catch some fish for barbecue themselves. It surprises us now and again how clever these animals are. It’s an exercise in being patient!
