About Us
“Organic” isn’t just a way of doing business for us, it’s an attitude to life as a whole. That’s one reason our two brand-new holiday apartments make so much use of sustainable materials, wood and natural textiles. The wonderful apartments are located on the top floor of this over 300-year-old farmhouse, each comfortably accommodating 4-7 people in two bedrooms as well as an additional dormer gallery. Through the broad glass frontage, you can enjoy the views of the forests and hills, and of the Schwalbenwand. The idyllic surroundings of Almdorf, a historic small village of several old farmhouses just outside Saalfelden, make this a perfect setting from which to enjoy a wide variety of recreational and sporting activities.
Our farm lies right on the beautiful Tauernradweg bike path and in the heart of the hiking and biking paradise of Saalfelden Leogang as well as the Hochkönig holiday region. Spectacular summits await you, along with pleasant hiking paths leading to rustic mountain huts. If ever you are in the mood to cool off on a hot summer’s day, you will be able to take a dip in Ritzensee (about 2 km away), in one of the area swimming pools or in the nearby Zeller See (ca. 10 km), which also happens to be a beautiful bike ride via the Tauernradweg.

About Us
Here with us, in winter you have a full selection of high-quality ski areas: The lifts of Hochkönig’s Winter Kingdom, with 120 piste kilometers, are just a 5-minute drive away. Even closer: Hinterreit family ski area with 2 tows for lots of variety and a great children’s offer. The renowned ski area of "Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn" is only a 15-minute drive from us.
Our 2 beautiful holiday apartments are on the top floor of our over 300-year-old farmhouse. Each featuring two bedrooms and an additional dormer gallery, they comfortably accommodate from 4-7 people. Through the broad glass frontage, you will be able to enjoy looking out on the snow-covered forests and hillsides as well as the Schwalbenwand. The idyllic surroundings of Almdorf, a historic small village of several old farmhouses just outside Saalfelden, make this a perfect setting from which to enjoy a wide variety of recreational and sporting activities.
In addition to the nearby ski areas, our farm is also within perfect reach of cross-country ski trails, winter hiking paths, snowshoeing trails and sledding hills. Or simply build a snowman in the garden.

On our organic farm, we keep mother cows with their calves, hens in a mobile coop, and we grow grain that is processed into delicious bread. Furthermore, we produce apple juice from our fruit trees, and make herbal salts using wild herbs from the alpine pastures.
We sell the following products at our farm: eggs, meat, apple juice, herbal salt – everything, of course, organic quality!
Ca. 30 mother cows with their calves are an important part of our farm. They spend the winter in an open-pen cowshed, before being released out onto the open fields in springtime and ultimately being able to spend all summer up at the Geralm. In addition, we have over 200 hens of different breeds, whose colorful eggs taste especially good. Kids really like our rabbits and our three small sheep.
