About Us
Welcome to Kleinhofers Himbeernest ! Our house is located on a quiet, sunny slope in the middle of a meadow overlooking the idyllic Markt Anger. The view of apple country from here is beautiful.
Our well-tended garden is the perfect spot to sit and relax under the cherry tree, enjoy a cup of coffee, or just stretch out on a chaise lounge. Enjoy the twittering of the birds, and make a detour into the raspberry garden for a snack. You will be staying in lovingly furnished double rooms. Mornings start off with a generous breakfast which includes many homemade products. And of course raspberries are included. Our farm is the perfect starting point for excursions, whether local or distant. Spend a wonderful day swimming at the Stubenbergsee in the summer. Take a drive along the apple road, or head to the summer toboggan run in Koglhof. You could also visit the Herberstein animal park, or enjoy a hike in the mountains – you have a large selection of activities to choose from. And they are a great value: when you stay with us you will receive the Genusscard Oststeiermark which entitles you to visit 120 destinations at no charge!
About Us
Get ready for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation with us! Kleinhofers Himbeernest is located on a sunny slope overlooking the East Styrian Markt Anger. The view of apple country from here is beautiful. There is plenty of room to relax around the house, a lot of room to play, and when snow is available lots of hills to sled down. You are welcome to join us in February when we use the dried fruit from the past summer, add apples, flour, and eggs, and bake apple bread.
It is important to us that you enjoy your breakfast. It is the start to a wonderful vacation day! Our motto: REGIONAL - SEASONAL - SERVED WITH LOVE! Our baker delivers bread and baked goods to the house every morning. The ham is provided by the farmer from the next village over, yogurt comes from the dairy, and we make all of our own jams! Currants, raspberries, and blackberries are picked fresh every morning, ready to add into your muesli. Herbs and elderberry blossoms are made into sirups for thirst quenchers full of vitamins. ENJOY!
The chickens on our farm just moved into a brand-new barn. We are especially proud of the egg flaps– they open to allow easy access to the laying area. Our youngest one will be happy to show you how it works!
And we have special goats, 3 Angoragoats are waiting to get to know you!
