The very beautifully situated Kracherbauer Farm in the Saalfelden basin, in the small hamlet of Pfaffenhofen, has been owned by the Hartl family since 1900 and offers a new holiday apartment for 2-7 people on the top floor of the farmhouse.
Quiet, peaceful, intimate – escape the hectic outside world in a truly special way. The diverse nature and culturally rich region invite you to deliberately slow down the pace of your life. In a stand-alone setting, the farm offers the quiet you crave and the opportunity to spend time with your loved ones, while the shops and recreational opportunities, both summer and winter, are only about a 10-minute drive away.
The holiday apartment itself was built in 2020 with boundless dedication and passion, now offering you high-quality amenities up to the most modern standards. In the process, particular attention was paid to creating a good mixture of modern and old. A special aspect: Since there is only one apartment at the Kracherbauernhof, you will not have to be considerate of other guests and will be able to unwind completely in your temporary “home away from home”.
We offer a separate garden area directly accessible from the apartment itself. This is intended to be an ideal place to relax quietly, but also play, get a little physical exercise and even grill up something tasty to eat.
The farm itself is a part-time organic calf rearing, along with organically kept hens and fresh eggs sold directly from the farm. In summer, the majority of the calves spend their summer holidays up at the Lindlingalm, at the Hinterglemm valley head. Some calves stay on the field here at the farm.
Since we live in a farming village, along the pathways through the village and surrounding areas, there are all kinds of animals and plants to observe.

Apartment with balcony and own garden

The holiday apartment is 80 m² and features two bedrooms (each with double bed and pull-out single bed or bunkbed). A fully equipped open kitchen, a bathroom with separate WC, a storage room as well as comfortably furnished living areas promise a high level of comfort during your stay.
In addition to a south-facing balcony with unobstructed mountain views of the Hohe Tauern - Kitzsteinhorn, in spring 2021 we will be creating a separate garden area directly accessible from the apartment itself. This is intended to be an ideal place to relax quietly, but also play, get a little physical exercise and even grill up something tastyto eat.
