A holiday at Kronhofer - apartments and beekeeping experience - is a holiday in tune with nature, whether during the summer or the winter months. The apartments are situated right at the edge of the forest, surrounded by untouched woods and meadows.
Each of the 8 apartments is named after its own flower / blossom, from the early blooming winter rose (Schneerose) to the late blooming Alpine rose (Alpenrose) and bees and nature will be a recurring theme throughout your stay - from the welcome gift of honey when you arrival to the parting glass of Honigschnapserl before your departure and many lovely surprises in between.
For flowers and blossoms to bloom in all their glory for us to enjoy, they need bees flying untiringly from blossom to blossom, pollinating them - this is the foundation of all life! If you would like to take a look behind the scenes at an apiary and watch a beekeeper at work, you can do so at our apiary learning station. You can even complete our Introductory Beekeeping Certifcate - according to our motto: "Honey - a fascinating journey from the honeycomb to the jar".
