Lahnerhof

It's approx. 10 mins by car to the Klösterlebahn valley station. This is the starting point from the Arriach side to Gerlitzen, the ski resort located in the heart of Carinthia. At the summit, 1,911 meters above sea level, you can enjoy an unforgettable view over the entire mountain landscape of Carinthia... right to the Grossglockner.

For children there are three major training grounds on the mountain with "Schneebärenland" affiliated ski schools and child care. Here, children can take their first turns under the guidance of trained and certified children's ski instructors. Gerlitzen, with its comfortable lifts, well-groomed slopes and optimal care from the ski school, is also perfect for beginners.

Nothing stands in the way of snowboarding fun either. There are natural tracks, cornices, kickers, as well as deep snow runs and the Gerlitzen free ride area and freestyle park.

Away from the slopes....

Besides skiing, you can also try guided snowshoeing and winter hiking. Panoramic cross-country ski trails and a specially prepared runway strip for ski tourers along the Klösterle ski run, organised sledge rides and various events at the Gerlitzen arena. 

Plenty of rustic cabins with large sun terraces all over the mountain invite you to take a break.

In winter, enjoy Carinthia's most beautiful vantage point - sport, fun and especially relaxation in a feel-good atmosphere!

Ice skating is possible with persistent wintry temperatures on the nearby Lake Afritz and Lake Brennsee. The journey from Lahnerhof takes approx. 15 to 20 minutes.

There's  space for all of your  skiing gear in Lahnerhof's ski room. The heater ensures that your boots are comfortably warm and dry for the next day.

After a sunny day on the slopes it will get nice and warm inside. Time for comfort and cosiness!
