Experience everyday life in the alpine pastures

Our cows spend the summer on our alp Hochbruck. Guests are welcome to join us for milking, taste fresh milk.

The murmuring of the stream, the tranquillity of the nature, the green meadows, the fresh mountain air, feeding and petting small animals - all this ensures that you will quickly forget the worries of everyday life. Relaxation amidst beautiful nature! Our farm with holiday apartment, which is located at an altitude of 890m above sea level, offers much freedom of movement! Where are the children? Playing with the go-kart or playing basketball! Or, maybe, in the stable with the animals: petting cats, spoiling the rabbits or collecting eggs from the nest! Exciting!

How about helping with harvesting the hay? Put on sturdy shoes and let's begin! Your rakes await!

And after work, let us have a barbecue on the green sun terrace and then play some table tennis or table football!

In summer, you can hike to our alpine pasture "Hochbruck", watch cows being milked, go on a guided tour of the mountain pasture museum and, possibly, spend a romantic night in the alpine cabin.

If your feet grow tired from all the walking, how about a foot bath in the nearby, shallow stream bed or a cool mountain water refresher? In the evenings, a conversation accompanied by a glass of home-made schnapps and real folk music. It is not surprising that everyone loves being here: families, friends of up to 7 persons or couples! (for max. 2 more people, sleeping on a sofa in the kitchen).

A cattle population of 30 - 35. 10 of the cows supply us with the best quality milk, the rest are still calves. The cows give birth for the first time at the age of approx. 2.5 years. They spend their summer on the alpine pasture, only the youngest 2 or 3 calves remain on the farm.

We have several cats which enjoy being stroked and our old cat "Sissi" gives birth to 2 to 4 small kittens every year.

And then there are also two cute dwarf rabbits as well as a guinea pig. They all enjoy being spoilt!

We have a small flock of chickens supplying us with fresh free-range eggs as well as a proud rooster!

Last but not least, there is a pig called "Wuzi", who likes to be fed with leftovers, whey and fresh grass!
