About Us
Our family-run farm with its separate holiday home is located in the municipality of Köttmannsdorf at 550 m altitude, just a few kilometres from the regional capital of Klagenfurt, the Wörther Lake, Keutschacher Lake and the Rauschelesee Lake, as well as the numerous sights and activities on offer in our region of Carnica Rosental. Our company is split into: agriculture and forestry, the dairy business, direct sales and marketing and farm-based holidays.
As a young farming family in full ownership of our farm, we are now living in “three” generations and manage our farm with boundless ambition and joy – for life and for nature! To be self-sufficient is to understand one thing: where things come from and where they grow! That’s why we strive to help our guests get more closely acquainted with “life down on the farm”!
With some 60 cows, including breeding and rearing, around 20 pigs, one dog, hares and countless cats, this is the chance to get hands-on experience of a real working farm. Our younger guests in particular enjoy playing freely and without disturbances. Guests can buy food at the farm and there is also a general store in the area around 1.2 km away. We are close to the regional capital of Klagenfurt – the lido (beach volleyball) and numerous sights such as: the Minimundus Miniature Park, the Reptile Zoo, the Planetarium, the Church Tower, the City Theatre and soon to come, a completely new attraction, the "Viewing Tower" on the Pyramidenkogel mountain - extravagant and adventurous!
Take advantage of the many possibilities: for swimming, surfing, walking, hiking, climbing, running, getting out and about and being active, cycling and mountain biking, especially on the 800 m high slope of the Sattnitzrücken with its breathtaking panoramic view of Rosental and the Karawank mountain range. The castles and many museums in our region of Carnica Rosental are packed full of information as well as the themed walk along the "Zwergohreulenwanderweg" trail and the unmistakable and unforgettable view from Plöschenberg over Rosental.
And for those who really enjoy their peace and quiet: why not simply sit and listen to the roaring Bach river, the "glub glub" of the trout in our fish pond or even try your hand at fishing and catch your own lunch? Give it a go –we’d love to show you how!

About Us
A warm "Welcome" from the beautiful Rosental, in the family-friendly town of Köttmannsdorf.
Our Malehof is surrounded by pristine nature, meadows, forests, and mountains, just a few kilometers from the capital city of Klagenfurt, Lake Wörthersee, and the Keutschacher lake valley.
Our multi-generational farm is run with great enthusiasm and joy! We love to involve our guests in farm life and are happy for any help you’d like to offer!
With around 20 calves, pigs, rabbits, chickens, goats, sheep, and many cats, boredom is never an issue.
We offer products from our own farm, and a local grocery store is just 1.2 km away. The nearby ÖBB train station also makes car-free travel easy.
The many attractions and sights in our region are a top experience with the free Wörthersee Card!
