Summer, winter, springtime or autumn, the freshness of nature will invigorate mind, body and spirit. Whether hiking, biking, mountaineering, skiing or snowshoeing, whether you are in search of adventure or pure tranquility.
Relax in our garden and on the green meadow with view of our idyllic mountain landscapes. Marvelously refreshing turquoise-blue water from the mountains accumulates in our Saalach-Au, inviting you and your family to paddle, build dams and feel the invigoration flowing through your body. In the evening, toss a juicy steak on the grill and afterwards, sitting next to a crackling fire, enjoy the romance of those starry mountain nights.
Water – the world’s most precious resource…. running from all of our taps is fresh mountain water from our own spring. The new fresh-water system can be counted on to invigorate you, both with hot and cold water!
Our Chalet Bascht is the traditional farmhouse, built in 1707. Here 300 years of mountain farming history are combined with a contemporary way of life and living culture. Traditionally connected and modern revived by numerous renovations, but the flair of the old remains.

About Us
The Skicircus rotates in the Glemmtal. Climb into the more than 400 km of groomed slopes. You can also reach the "Hochalm" lift station without a private car. The ski bus leaves every 20 minutes and the skis and heated boots are already waiting for you in the in-house ski depot.
Ski tours or deep snow rides, sleigh rides or walks along the Saalach, the Maroldenhof is the ideal base camp for your sporting ambitions in winter.
Enjoy after a strenuous day of skiing in the infrared cabin or in our block sauna behind the house. No shower to cool down!! - let yourself fall into the freshly snowed powder snow.
Or build an igloo with the kids and have a snowball fight around the house.
Farm Products
We offer you eggs from our chicken. You can also pick herbs in the herbgarden for free.
Animals
20 ox's are living at the Maroldenhof, which are in the open air all summer long. In the winter months they are supplied with dried mountain grasses and herbs exclusively from our own areas. You can enjoy our slowly grown meat in the one or other ski hut.
In summer around 200 wild-broiler-chickens still spend time on the the farm, with daily exercise for an authentic taste.
Our chickens live in a mobile coop and enjoy alwas fresh, green meadows. By changing the area regularly, they can eat a healthy and natural diet. You can also see this in the intense yellow of our eggs - a sign of quality and species-appropriate husbandry.
Even our smalles farm residents don't miss out. Our dwarf rabbit Hoppel and Buffels are happy, when they are stroked and feed. Our mini dwarf goats Heidi, Klara and Ida are also waiting for you.
Our cuddly cat Loui ist waiting to play with you.
