About Us
Welcome to the Obermühlhof horse and pony farm in Saalfelden in SalzburgerLand
From August 2023, all 3 holiday flats will be completely renovated and we look forward to welcoming you.
Enjoy a fantastic view of the Steinerne Meer and the Hochkönig directly from the kitchens in the holiday flats or from the balcony. We have furnished the flats to a very high standard and with great attention to detail. You can end your evenings cosily on the balcony or in the garden. Always with a view of our breathtaking mountain panorama.
We have horses, our mini ponies and our farm dog Bella (Bernese mountain dog) on our farm. You are welcome to visit the horses and the minis can also be groomed and led. Of course, we are always very happy to have helping hands with the stable work or haymaking! Our Bella loves guests more than anything and loves to play with you!
Summer
In summer you can swim in the nearby Ritzensee lake, which can be reached by car in 5 minutes. There are also opportunities for archery and the golf course is within walking distance. Many different hiking routes or mountain bike trails lead you to the peaks in the surrounding area. The Tauern cycle path is right on our doorstep and you can use the many paths to explore the entire Saalachtal valley.
Winter
You can reach the Hinterreit family ski area on foot. It's perfect for beginners and our younger guests. For all guests who long for variety and countless kilometres of pistes, we can recommend our ski bus. It is about a 2-minute walk from us and takes you to the Hochkönig, Maria Alm, Dienten or Leogang. Of course you can also leave your skis at home and explore the surrounding area on foot or by toboggan. There are plenty of opportunities around our farm!

About Us
In winter, our farm is the ideal starting point for skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating and much more. Right next to us is the Hinterreit lift, the perfect family lift. Many locals have learnt to ski there and, with a bit of luck, you can watch the ski stars (Manuel Feller, Henrik Kristofferson and many more) training.
The Hochkönig ski area (120 km of perfectly groomed pistes) can be reached in just a few minutes. The ski bus stops right next to us.
Leogang-Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Fieberbrunn (270 km of fun on the slopes) is approx. 15 minutes away by car. Zell am See-Kaprun is about 20 minutes away by car.
Cross-country skiing is also on offer. The 5 km long Ramseiderloipe can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. In Maria Alm, a floodlit trail awaits tireless cross-country skiers.
For snowshoe hikers and ski tourers, it's a dream to enjoy nature from above.
On the Biberg it's off to tobogganing. Before you plunge down the 6 km long toboggan run, there are three mountain inns where you can savour delicacies such as traditional ribs or "Bladl".

We process our fruit (apples, pears) into juices, schnapps, jams (strawberry, apricot, blueberry, cranberry,...) and syrup (elderberry).
