Obiralmhütte Fladung

The mountain cabin “Berghaus Fladung” is perched on the southern side of the mountain Hochobir. In a secluded location at an altitude of 1,350 m, it boasts an impressive view of the Karawanks. The traditional mountain cabin combines exclusive interiors with a feeling of well-being. Thanks to a combination of custom-made and antique furniture, history and tradition merge with tasteful style. In the mountain cabin “Berghaus Fladung”, we keep the spirit of the mining era alive. In the second half of the 18th century, lead mining flourished here, on the mountain Hochobir. A lot of people had to work hard to mine lead ore that was highly sought after at the time.

Today, this place is a mountain cabin with high-quality furnishings, two bedrooms with four beds each, a bathroom and toilet. The amenities absolutely meet the demands when it comes to comfortable living. There’s a tiled stove, a wood-fired stove and central heating. Firewood is provided outside the cabin. Outdoors, you’ll find a nice seating corner and a spot to make a campfire. Enjoy beautiful evenings!
