Our small organic farm is a haven of diversity. We produce traditional farm products with great care and a great deal of love, for example natural sourdough bread baked in a wood-fired oven and organic raw milk. Our guests can also savour delicious organic eggs.

Plus, we grow organic sprouts, tiny treats that are especially rich in nutrients. We simply love these fresh greens because of their colourful diversity, their incredible nutritional value (they are so healthy!) and their special taste. 😀

Since we, our friends and our guests were so enthusiastic about the organic sprouts that we grew, we decided to found a business called “Sprossenliebe” and to develop a sprouting kit for sprouts and microgreens. This way, anyone can easily grow, harvest and enjoy fresh sprouts and microgreens at home, within a few days, all year round. Sprouts add freshness, flavour and important nutrients to every meal - and it’s quick and easy. Plus, kids love the special experience of planting and watering their very own shoots. 😊

On our farm Ottingerhof, Mati, our family dog, Dusty, our mini Shetland pony, her friend Amy, the donkey, our rabbits Flocke and Haribo as well as the dwarf goats Talea and Meggy feel at home. But also our cows and calves are part of the farm family and get loving care from our guests 😊. Of course, we don’t forget to mention our lively hens that cater for the delicious eggs on the breakfast table, every day. They are a colourful old chicken breed that you rarely get to see these days.
