About Us
Welcome to the Pleschinhof in Köstenberg, above Velden am Wörthersee.
We are a real experience farm with many furry noses that are looking forward to meet you. You will find us in a fantastic, central location, in the middle of Carinthia, with a unique panoramic view over the Karawanken and Julian Alps.
Enjoy the peace and serenity with us or dive into the daily life at the farm and the work with our animals in the nature. For us, it means being able to do everything, not having to do anything. Help out in the barn, drive a tractor, milk cows, feed rabbits or groom our horses, and then go for a ride with them. This and much more is our active program for the whole family. Look forward to the stories of your children, what they discovered and experienced all day long with us.
Experience our warm hospitality and relax in the large garden, in the shady hammock or with a glass of home-made cider. Directly from the farm you can go on exciting hikes in the surrounding forests or climb smaller peaks. After an eventful day you can relax in our private sauna area and process the experiences.
In summer, the most beautiful lakes in Carinthia's central region are just a few minutes drive from us. Whether Wörthersee with its turquoise blue water, Ossiachersee with its great water parks for the whole family or Faaker See. A dip in our drinking water lakes is just part of the holiday with us.

We are a real experience farm with many furry noses that are looking forward to meet you. You will find us in a fantastic, central location, in the middle of Carinthia, with some of the best ski areas in Carinthia on the doorstep.
Enjoy the peace and serenity with us or dive into the daily life at the farm and the work with our animals and nature. For us, it means being able to do everything, not having to do anything. Help out in the barn, drive a tractor, milk cows, feed rabbits or groom our horses, and then go on a ride in the snow with them. This much more is our activity program for the whole family. Look forward to the stories of your children, what they discovered and experienced all day long with us.
In winter, you can reach some of the most beautiful ski areas within a short time. On the doorstep lies the Carinthian ski-Hausberg, the Gerlitzen. In 45 minutes the top ski resorts Turrach, Nassfeld or Bad Kleinkirchheim can be reached. And after an eventful day of skiing, relax in our private sauna area and enjoy the view from our panoramic relaxation room.
We are also the ideal starting point for day trips to the Julian Alps, to Italy for shopping or to Slovenia to Lake Bled.

Look forward to our homemade delicacies: ham and bacon which we smoke ourselves or air dry. Fine salami from our own pigs and then a good home-made schnapps from specially grown fruit. Not to mention our homemade apple juice and must for which we could already get some prices.
And then our own wine! We make at 900m one of the highest wines in Carinthia and look forward to this with you to taste! cheers
Our numerous furry noses are looking forward to meet you. There is once "Odin", our thoroughbred Hovawart breeding dog, who will gladly welcome you to Pleschinhof. Then we have Lotte and Flora, our Valais black-nosed sheep who enjoy daily strokes. Our horses Cindy and Lady are just waiting to be nailed and ridden. Our cats, Otello, Snoopy, Petzi Charly & Kitty, make sure Jerry does not multiply at the farm. And then our 40 cows, who can get to know each other better during their daily milking and give them names.
