About Us
Welcome to Reiterhof Embach in SalzburgerLand!
We have operated our small-but-charming family-run riding stables with 11 horses for several years.
Since 2019, we have also offered two newly constructed apartments for horse fans and nature lovers right next to the stables. Both of the apartments, for 4 or 6 people, feature a bedroom, bathroom with shower, fully equipped kitchen with adjacent living and dining area. The big balconies are a special highlight, a great opportunity to relax, enjoy the mountain views and daydream.
Are you a horseback rider? In that case, why not combine your holidays with us with some riding lessons and trail rides in the surrounding countryside. Or are you hoping for a timeout in the mountains? Hikers and nature lovers also find what they’re looking for here with us. Numerous hiking opportunities are certain to excite you. And after a round of “Farm Golf” in Embach, no doubt you will want to wind down the day out on your balcony, gazing at the breathtaking mountain panorama.
Things never get boring here in winter either. Horseback rides through the winter countryside are always a special experience. But also the nearby ski lifts and sledding hill promise all the variety you could wish for.
We hope to welcome you personally to our farm very soon!
Your hosts, Alexandra Langreiter and Johann Pirchner

We currently have 11 horses living at our riding stables, including five ponies and six full-size horses. Their temperaments range from mellow to feisty, though all of them have a very kind heart.
Our farm dog, Lola, is a mixed breed and always keeps a close eye on everything. Needless to say, she also loves to accompany us on our trail rides.
Our farm cat, Flipsi, does an outstanding job as our official mouse catcher.

The roaring Krimml Waterfalls, whistling marmots, the silent beat of an eagle’s wings - that’s the idyllic backdrop as you walk across the alpine pastures, from one mountain cabin to the next. Climb the summit of Austria’s highest mountain, Großglockner, or cycle through the unique flora and fauna. In winter, it’s tempting to explore the snow-covered side valleys in your snowshoes.
