    Highlights

    HotPot

Relaxed splashing under the starry sky, even heated to your favourite temperature with wood. Wellness at lofty heights.

    Connection

In summer directly on the mountain bike trail and in winter right next to the ski piste. Nevertheless, you can enjoy peace and relaxation at the hut.

    About Us

The Seig-Hochalm, our alpine hut in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, is unique. High above, atop the Bernkogel peak, the hut sits majestically, surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, overlooking the beautiful Glemmtal valley.

For winter sports enthusiasts: The alpine hut is located directly at the intersection of ski slopes 146 and 147 of the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn – truly ski in-ski out! You can also embark on fantastic ski tours right from the hut.

During the "reconstruction" of the hut, we placed great value on traditional building materials. The wood from two 400-year-old barns was reused for this purpose. The interior is rustic in style, yet equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay.

The terrace offers benches, a table, a grill, and a heatable hot tub.

Situated at an elevation of 1,680 meters, just below the Bernkogel summit, the alpine hut provides a magnificent view from the terrace—and, of course, from the hot tub—of the surrounding mountains, from the glaciers of the Hohe Tauern to the Hochkönig and the Steinernes Meer. At night, far from the bright city lights, you can admire the unspoiled starry sky and perhaps even catch a glimpse of a shooting star or two.

We look forward to welcoming you to this special place, nestled in the heart of nature.

    Yours sincerely,

    The Niederseer Family

    Videos

In the summer, cows, horses, and/or sheep are often fenced around the hut.

Numerous wild animals live in the forests surrounding the hut. With a bit of luck, you might observe deer, foxes, falcons, bats, or even capercaillies and other creatures.
