You’ll sleep near a swallow’s nest with the cow barn and the hayloft always in sight. Falling asleep only ten meters from a donkey all while being separated by an airtight wall ... this experience is meant to touch you deep inside. The idyllic and secluded location on an intermontane plateau with a spectacular view is truly inspiring. It will help you change your perspective and broaden your horizon. The quirky and unusual place to stay at our farm “Natur Gut Lassen” will boost your emotional health and well-being surrounded by water bodies, forests and fauna in their natural condition.
Reconnect with nature on our themed walk that aims at changing the walker’s perspective. Engaging with nature, forests and animals with awareness can help you see the small things in life in a new perspective. “Why does a woodpecker not get a headache?” “How does life in an ant hill work?” On our themed trail, you can broaden your horizon, learn from nature and increase your awareness.

Our tree house reading corner is part of our themed trail that aims at changing perspectives. Five meters from the ground, it has been built from old timber on a 110-year-old common ash tree. A lot of the wood that has been used as a building material had been part of a historic mill at a stream. The tree house features a glass front facing to the valley. Let your eyes wander and marvel at the beauty of nature.
An extraordinary reading experience with a view. Through the art of observing carefully and taking in the surroundings with all your senses, you’ll be able to reconnect with nature in lofty heights. You can choose from a sweet or hearty picnic basket for a delightful culinary experience high above Carinthia’s valleys.

About Us
Would you like to marvel at the beauty of winter in the mountains far away from the crowds in the ski resorts? Our farm “Natur Gut Lassen” (1,040 m) with the “Stallet - Barn Chalet” is exactly the right place for that. It’s set on a sunny intermontane plateau with no other buildings around and boasts a spectacular view. Your hosts, Heike and Günter, and their team are looking forward to serving healthy, fresh food and to creating an ambience of indulgence in this winter wonderland. Two spacious ski resorts, a private sauna and a toboggan run starting from the doorstep are more ingredients for a pleasant winter holiday.

Identify the treasure’s of nature and use them in the kitchen - wild blackberries, mushrooms and elderflowers add to the culinary diversity on our menu. Venison from our private hunting grounds, fish and crayfish from our private ponds and locally sourced beef are served.
We purchase high-quality organic hay milk and cheese from our direct neighbours. We also produce delicious butter from the milk we buy.
Our farm is home to chicken, ducks, geese, pigs, a donkey, cats and rabbits. Trouts and Carinthian crayfish love living in our ponds. On our private hunting property, you can spot red deer, fallow deer, capercaillie and hazel grouse.
