About Us
We Ferners are a large family who, from grandma to the twins (born in 2000), all live under one roof. A stay with us means rejuvenation in a friendly atmosphere while also experiencing life on a working farm. Children help out in all aspects of life and learn of course all about dealing with the animals and the production of natural foods. There is a lovely playground with trampoline, slide, swings, see-saw, table tennis and a pool. Riding on good-natured Haflinger horses is our speciality. Children and adult beginners practice in the arena, but may soon be taking part in simple trail rides. We offer more advanced riders one hour or several hours of riding. The highlight is an all-day ride. For cross-country riders we offer a multi-day ride across the Seetaler Alps. Our secret tip: Horse trekking to the top of Zirbitzkogel (2,396 m). Wagon rides and riding tours complete the range of offers. Adventure programme for non-riders in the area (water playground, play mill, adventure tours, etc.)

Beautiful snow around the farm, sledding and bobsleighs free to borrow, ski bus from the farm to the ski lift, piglets, calves and lambs to feed, cows to milk, chickens provide the eggs for breakfast, cats and rabbits to pet and very brave horses for horseback excursions - you'll find all this right here with us.

During the day go skiing, sledding, or build a snowman and in the evening help out in the barn - this is the perfect winter holiday for you and your children! there is a shuttle bus service from the farm to the lift (1 ski lift 800 m and 1 children's lift, 3 different alighting points, ski and snowboard lessons, equipment rental.) Play about on the slopes during the day and help in the stable in the evening. Around 50 cattle and 15 horses await you there, as well as sheep, pigs, chickens, cats and rabbits! You can help us give the calves something to drink, give fresh hay to the cows, groom the horses, etc. Children's work tools are at the ready and we will supervise the kids while the parents relax.

On our farm there are currently 22 Haflinger horses and 2 Shetland ponies, 70 cows and calves, pigs, sheep, cats, rabbits, chickens, bees.
The guests are allowed at any time to go into the barn and help out with feeding the animals, actively trying their hand at milking, giving milk to the calves, getting the breakfast eggs from the henhouse, feeding the pig with grandma, grooming the horses, patting the cats and rabbits .
