About Us
“Griaß Di” at the children's and baby farm ‘HOF Unterhuben’ with the Zeller family
Welcome to our farm! We look forward to welcoming you according to the motto of our house - “Come as a guest, leave as a friend”. A family and child-friendly atmosphere awaits you at HOF Unterhuben, where you and your loved ones can spend a relaxing and at the same time eventful time.
Johann & Martina, together with their children Verena, Katharina, Ilona and grandma Margit, run the farm as a full-time business and put their heart and soul into looking after the dairy cows.
Our 12 hectares of grassland provide space for around 40 cows, which live on the farm all year round. In addition, there are our 3 pigs - ham, bacon and schnitzel - as well as the calves, Julius the rabbit with his buttercup and, of course, the two cats Felix and Cleopatra, who are always waiting for playmates. All the animals love being spoiled with shamrocks!
For all those who long for a change from the stable and the animals, we offer a large, safe lawn with a playground where children can play to their heart's content - without traffic! And if the weather doesn't play ball, there's plenty of space in our playroom to run around and relax.
Our farm is situated at 585 m above sea level, at the foot of the Pankrazberg in a sunny south-facing position, quiet and surrounded by meadows. The view of the majestic Zillertal mountains leaves nothing to be desired. We are not far from the center of the village of Fügen, which makes our location perfect for sports enthusiasts - in summer!
Whether hiking, skiing or simply relaxing on the farm - we have the right offer for every family.

Welcome to our farm! According to the motto of our house - “Come as a guest, leave as a friend” - you can expect a familiar and child-friendly atmosphere, which offers you and your family an unforgettable time in the middle of nature.
Johann & Martina, together with their children Verena, Katharina, Ilona and grandma Margit, run the farm as a full-time business and look after their dairy cows with great dedication.
We farm 12 hectares of grassland, which is home to around 40 cows all year round. If you feel like it, you can help farmer Johann with the milking and get a real insight into life on the farm.
Of course, we also have 3 pigs (ham, bacon and schnitzel), as well as our calves, Julius the rabbit and his buttercup, who love to be fed and pampered with clover leaves. Felix the cat and cheeky Cleopatra are also waiting for playmates to romp around the farm together.
For all those who need a little break from the stable and animals, we have a large lawn with a playground, which is ideal for playing without any traffic. And if the weather is bad, our playroom is ready to let off steam and have fun.

Here at HOF UNTERHUBEN, indulgence is not neglected either! We offer you a variety of farm-produced delicacies that will make every gourmet's heart beat faster:
- Schnapps from our own distillery - with handcrafted production and natural ingredients that reflect the unique taste of the Zillertal landscape.
- Bacon from the smokehouse - the traditional taste of genuine craftsmanship and a lot of love for nature.
- Fresh, home-baked bread - warm from the oven, it not only smells wonderful, but also tastes of home.
- Honey from our own bees - straight from the hive and full of the power of the surrounding meadows and flowers.
- Tea and herbs from our own herb garden - the perfect blend for a relaxing break on our farm.
Our schnapps, liqueurs, fruit syrup, honey and homemade jam are bottled in beautiful bottles and jars and make an ideal gift for your loved ones at home.
Come by, enjoy the farm's own specialties and take a piece of the Zillertal home with you!
A new free-range barn for our animals - A home for our cows
In summer 2014, we converted our traditional tethered barn into a modern free-range barn in accordance with the latest legal standards. The change was a big step for us and especially for our animals!
“When the cows moved into the new barn on the first day, we could hardly believe our eyes!”
The animals, which had previously spent the summer on the mountain pasture, walked into the barn as a matter of course - and the first thing they did was eat and drink. But that wasn't all: once they had regained their strength, the cows lay down in their new cubicles without hesitation. It was a real feast for our eyes to see how quickly they accepted the new stall. It was as if there had never been another barn!
Since then, our cows and calves have lived with us all year round, as have the pigs, Hannelore the goat, chickens, rabbits and cats. All the animals are happy to be fed and stroked by you.
We are proud to be able to offer our animals a modern and species-appropriate home and hope that you will feel just as comfortable with us as our animals do!
