Enjoy the daily life on a farm, the clean air and the smell of herbs and fresh hay.
We’d like our guests to find peace and relax in nature and in our garden.
Our farm Almhof Unterranner offers plenty of space in nature and boasts a breathtaking mountain panorama in the Kalkalpen National Park. At the foot of the majestic mountains Großer Pyhrgas and Kleiner Pyhrgas, we offer three comfortable holiday apartments with balcony in our farmhouse: Bird’s Song - Mountains - Water’s Melody. Experience nature with all your senses. Listen - smell - feel. Take the time for the simple things. You can lie down on a bench in the shade and watch the kids play and build something in the sand. Feed the cows or pet the cats. Right across the meadow, there’s a mountain stream in which you can cool your feet on a hot summer’s day.
A campfire with bread-on-a-stick and home-made juice is a great end of the day.
All those who would like to explore our beautiful surroundings will find what they desire. There are hiking trails for all ages, cycle routes, lakes and public outdoor pools, cable cars that take you up the mountain and summer toboggan runs to whizz down. A lot of these activities are for free or discounted thanks to the local guest card “Pyhrn-Priel Card” which is included in your stay.

Tobogganing, cross-country skiing, Alpine skiing - it’s got to be fun!
Our youngest guests can romp and play on the hillside next to our house while the adults take in the amazing scenery - everything’s covered in white, glistening snow.
Our farm Almhof Unterranner offers plenty of space to romp and play in the snow and boasts a breathtaking mountain panorama in the Kalkalpen National Park. At the foot of the majestic mountains Großer Pyhrgas and Kleiner Pyhrgas, we offer three comfortable holiday apartments with balcony in our farmhouse: Bird’s Song - Mountains - Water’s Melody. Listen - smell - feel. Take the time for the simple things.
Marvel at the snowflakes on the window, the white winter wonderland after the fresh snow has fallen or the snowman that has grown over night.
Cuddle with our cats and help feed the cows. It’s great fun to see the tractor remove the heaps of snow. Start snowshoeing or cross-country skiing right from the doorstep. Enjoy winter to the fullest.
Those who’d like to go Alpine skiing can walk to the ski lift incl. children’s lift on our neighbours’ farm. The ski resorts “Wurzeralm” and “Höss” in Hinterstoder are easy to reach. In the evening, you can soothe your bones in our infrared sauna.

Home-made is the best!
We eat what grows on our farm.
Try our sweet delights: redcurrant juice, lemon balm syrup, blackberry jam. There’s constantly something new to try depending on the harvest from the garden.
Especially men like our fruit spirits: damson, plum, pear or cider spirit. Those with a sweet tooth will like our home-made liqueurs such as nut, stone pine, cherry or elderberry liqueur.
You can often try home-made beef bacon and other beef products from our animals. Season it with home-made herb salt.
Enjoy tasteful culinary delights!
There’s a lot to discover in grandma’s garden. Marigold, mint, lemon balm, chives, horseradish and lovage - there’s a herb for every fancy.
You can pick berries, harvest tomatoes, salad or pumpkin, plant radish and carrots. Watch, help or enjoy the day and take in the scents of grandma’s garden.
The smell of wood burning comes from the campfire. We roast bread-on-a-stick and grill sausages while we’re watching the most beautiful sunset that you can imagine.
How cool! Cows, a rosy pig and funny ducks.
Grab your rubber boots and let’s go feed the cows.
Come to the hayloft with us. We’ll do it together! Let’s not forget Rosalinchen, our rosy pig. It’s always very hungry! Would you like to pet it?
There’s always some time left to cuddle with the cats. If we’re lucky, we might find an egg that our duck, aunt Emma, has laid.
