Viehhofgut
- Farm Stay
Highlights
Quiet location in the middle of nature.
Only one apartment in the courtyard, with its own entrance.
Thermal baths, ski areas and bathing lake nearby.
About Us
Our Viehhofgut in the beautiful SalzburgerLand is situated in complete seclusion, surrounded by unspoiled nature, and offers a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains. Despite this tranquil location, the nearest village is only a few minutes' walk away, and the famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road can be reached in a few minutes by car.
Our farm is a paradise for animal lovers. In addition to our cows, calves, and our proud bull, we also have four lovable donkeys, a horse, ducks, chickens, bees, and cats. Cow-calf farming is a central element of our agriculture, and we warmly invite you to learn all about it during a visit to the barn. You are also welcome to watch or help with the hay harvest, or if interested, approach the beehive and learn something about bees.
We offer only a single holiday apartment for two people, which guarantees our guests absolute privacy. You can exclusively use the garden and all the farm's facilities, allowing you to enjoy your vacation in complete tranquility.
Summer Activities
In summer, the numerous hiking trails around our farm invite you to take extended walks. The nearby Zeller See is ideal for swimming, hiking, or cycling. A special experience is driving on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which starts in Bruck and offers spectacular panoramic views, or visiting the Kitzsteinhorn and enjoying the view from the panoramic platform.
Winter Activities
In winter, the Zell am See-Kaprun ski area is an absolute must for all winter sports fans. The Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Leogang ski areas are also easily accessible by bus or car. For those who prefer a quieter pace, you can explore the surrounding cross-country ski trails or enjoy the beautiful landscape with a snowshoe hike or horse-drawn sleigh ride.
After a day full of activities in nature, the popular Tauern Spa, just a 15-minute drive away, offers perfect relaxation and recreation.
We look forward to your stay with us on the farm.
Yours,
The Schweinitz Family
