Welcome to the Vorderkeuzsaalgut with Petra and Josef Rettenwender!

We have three children (Josef, Theresa and Markus) and took over our farm in 2020, completely renovating the farmhouse with a lot of hard work and attention to detail. We look forward to showing you our beautiful farm on your next holiday.

Our farm is located approx. 2 km from Wagrain, on the mountain with a wonderful view of the mountain landscape. We are the last house in our village and enjoy our traffic-calmed location! Here our children and guests can play in peace!

We raise calves and the big cattle go to the mountain pasture in summer! A few small calves and our chickens and cats spend the summer on the farm! You are welcome to help us feed the animals. On the farm there is plenty of space to play and let off steam on the trampoline, on the slide or in the sandpit.

The holiday flat is part of the farmhouse and is on the top floor. The entire farmhouse has been completely renovated, including the flat. It is ideal for families or couples of friends, as it has 2 separate rooms (living room and bedroom).

In summer, you can explore the attractions of the Salzburger Sportwelt. There are many different adventure mountains that motivate even the youngest guests to go hiking. You can also take the Flying Mozart cable car up the mountain in comfort and hike from mountain pasture to mountain pasture or to Lake Ruperti. Or you can visit our outdoor pool in Wagrain, which we can highly recommend!

In winter you can go sledging or build snow castles around our house. Or you can take the cable car in Wagrain and enjoy the 210 km of pistes in the Salzburger Sportwelt. You can spend several days here without getting bored! Of course, there are also great ski touring and snowshoe hiking opportunities!

Snow chains are required in winter!

The holiday flat consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed and an extra bed, an extra living room with pull-out couch and balcony, a fully equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher and oven) with dining table and a bathroom with shower and extra WC. There is free WLAN and a flat-screen TV. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The apartment is non-smoking and allergy-friendly!
