Weissenhofalm

The Weissenhofalm is open from the beginning of June until the beginning of October, located high above Kleinarl at 1770 m above sea level. Two always-cheerful ladies run our mountain hut and take excellent care of our guests.
In our comfortable dining room or on the terrace outside the hut with views of the surrounding mountains, we offer a selection of delicious regional foods. Milk, butter, farmhouse bread, cheese, bacon, hot and cold specialties as well as donuts (both savory and sweet) along with strudels… We are also happy to make arrangements for a taxi to bring you all the way up.

The Weissenhofalm has space to sleep as many as 25 people. The multi-bed rooms and dormitory (with shower/WC) are perfectly equipped for hut holidays. You also have the opportunity to dry out your hiking gear. You won’t soon forget your hill-country breakfast on the terrace or next to the wood-burning stove in the parlor. While children are certain to have great fun on the playground and playing close to the hut.

Arrival:
The Weissenhofalm can be explored on foot in approx. 2.5 hours.
The alpine hut can be reached with the Kleinarler Almtaxi. The mountain railways in Wagrain ("Flying Mozart" cable car) are also in operation in summer. We are happy to organize pastry transport for overnight stays in the alpine hut. The alpine cabin is open from approx. mid-June to approx. mid-October (subject to weather conditions).
We are happy to offer you tasty specialities and beverages from the region. The alpine cabin is the ideal starting point for walks (Salzburger Almenweg, Blauer See lake, Ennskrax, high altitude walks to Wagrain,..).

Needless to say, the Weissenhofalm is an ideal base for hikes. Not least because it stands right next to the Salzburger Almen Weg leading to Wagrain.
