About Us
Do you hear that crunching under your feet? Can you smell the snow? Can you feel the dusting of snow quietly falling from the trees onto your face? Take in the view of the magical winter landscape of our beautiful Mieming plateau while enjoying the tasty treats which we offer this time of the year. Come and enjoy this precious winter vacation experience. Enjoy a break from long lines at the ski lift and crowded slopes. And if you decide to go skiing during your vacation, we are only 20 minutes away from several ski areas: Seefeld, Ehrwald, Hoch-Oetz, and Oberperfuss. Children will love the new Kinderland in Obsteig, where the Magic Carpet will help them as they learn how to ski. Just try it! We are looking forward to your visit! Isabella and Hermann
Yummm - that is delicious! Homemade jam, herbal syrup and tea. Or fresh potatoes – from the field right into the pot, served with herbal butter and Farmer's cheese dip – so good! As a trained herbalist, the farmer's wife gathers and transforms wild herbs into delicious dishes with her guests. The cows need to be brought in from the pastures and milked. What have we there? An egg!! Did Berta escaped from the chicken coop again? It's really special when you can see where your food comes from and how it gets there! We offer our guests potatoes, jam, milk, juices, eggs, herbal products, milk products and fruit from our garden for their dining pleasure.
Twice a day we get fresh milk from our cows, the basis for delicious homemade treats like butter, yogurt, cheese, pudding, hot chocolate… Chickens provide the eggs for breakfast, baking, and traditional Tyrolean cooking. The pigs are always happy to have leftovers and our donkeys love to be petted. The cats keep busy catching mice in the fields
